Ghee/Clarified butter - 2 Tbsp

Method:
  • Grind the walnuts and almonds in a food processor/blender into a coarse powder.
  • Now roast the nuts powder in a frying pan on medium heat for about 3 to 5 minutes until its starts give aroma. Remove from heat and set aside.

  • Put the sugar and water together in a saucepan on medium heat. Bring to a boil to make the 1 thread syrup. Turn off the heat and stir in the cardamom powder.

  • Add the nuts powder to the syrup and mix well. Now add Ghee/clarified butter mix well and transfer into a greased plate.
  • Wait a few minutes until the mixture becomes warm. Now make round balls to prepare laddus.
  • Note: You must make balls/laddus when the mixture is warm. If you let it cool then the mixture will become dry and you won’t be able to make balls/laddus.  Add more Ghee if the mixture became dry.
  • Almond Walnut laddus / Almond Walnut Sweet balls can be stored for a month.
